The CARES Act and what the SBA loans mean - On Friday, March 27, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief & Economic Security Act (CARES ACT). This $2 Trillion stimulus bill is intended to help ease some of the economic disruption caused by COVID-19 by providing cash flow and liquidity to businesses.
The National Restaurant Association has created a spreadsheet of various government relief resources available for restaurants and restaurant employees at the state and local level as well as a list detailing state restrictions on restaurant operations, sanitizing requirements, changes to alcohol delivery laws and occupancy restriction. The spreadsheet includes supporting affected employers and workers and Washington Employer State Tax Relief info.
