What roles have you held at Harbor?
I first started my career at Harbor as a Business Development Manager. Currently, I am a District Manager for Pierce County.
How did you make the transition from where you started to where you are now?
I was one of 3 Business Development Managers at Harbor in 2022. There was an opening for a Pierce County District Manager position at the start of 2022 and I applied for that position.
How long have you been with Harbor?
I have been with Harbor for 4.5 years.
Any advice for advancing your career at Harbor?
Utilize the talent that we have on our team at Harbor. Don’t feel that you need to take the approach of doing everything by yourself. Be yourself and constantly develop your ability to give feedback and receive feedback from your peers. Create attainable professional goals and be honest with yourself about your progress. Lead with confidence and a smile on your face.
As a long standing employee, what do you think is the most important quality to have to get your career started at Harbor?
I think the most important quality you need to possess is to be curious. We are in an industry that is changing rapidly and will continue to do so. Being curious allows you to become a forever student to our industry, which allows you to provide great service to our customers and peers.
